A developer has contacted us and would like to purchase the property and keep it as a golf course. This could "save" 180 acres of pristine green open space from being replaced with a giant warehouse.
► Twp Cmte says it won't stop a referendum and our municipal taxes will increase every year, even with a warehouse!
► Neighboring communities with multiple warehouses have not seen their tax bills lowered!

► Chesterfield is not equipped to handle additional EMS, fire and police calls that come with a warehouse development. These additional services will increase our tax bill.
► A warehouse opens the door to more development. Before long, we will be surrounded by concrete, metal & traffic.

Let Chesterfield Township Committee know you don't think a warehouse is in the best interest in our town.
Save Old York is a registered group of local residents in Northern Burlington County, New Jersey, devoted to improving the lives of the community in and around Chesterfield. This group was started after a proposal was made to change a beautiful golf course into a large warehouse. We firmly believe that this ill-advised
We want Chesterfield and our surrounding areas to retain a rural, “hometown” feeling and avoid joining other communities that have watched warehouses pop-up without the benefits that were promised by the developers.
In addition to encouraging the continuation of a golf course or other green space, we advocate for other issues that impact our community's quality of life. From help applying for grants for better facilities, to advocating for a better environment, we hope to have a positive, lasting impact on Chesterfield and the surrounding area.
“New Jersey is proud to be known as the Garden State, but we are at risk of becoming the warehouse state” - Senator Sweeney
